How To Get Your Blog Started.

So, you’ve just created your domain name, you’re restlessly scrolling through themes and you’re bursting with the energy that you’re going to be the next best thing. Now what? Starting a blog can be a very daunting task, especially getting those first few sentences down and out there to your audience. Firstly, you need to remember that your blog is yours – you shouldn’t change anything about your tone and you should  let your character shine through with everything you write. I heard a lovely compliment recently that somebody reads my blog, despite having little interest in the topics I feature, purely because of my writing style – which really made my day.

September Wish List.

I’ve seen a few of these posts knocking around online and, despite the fact that I haven’t done one of these since I was 13 and lime/pink was the height of cool on Piczo layouts, I thought I’d indulge myself and have a go. Now, most of this stuff is most definitely to remain a “wish”, given I have just absolutely maxed myself out as a result of my London Fashion Week trip (so worth it!), but you never know what my student loan will bring…

London Fashion Week & Timur Kim Show Review.

On Thursday, I was absent-mindedly mooching through my Twitter feed as I always do and happened upon a retweeted post about a free ticket going for a London Fashion Week show. So, naturally – I jumped on it. I messaged the girl who posted it, who turned out to be the lovely Sam from WhenFlowersFall, who told me they had a spare ticket to the Timur Kim show – all I needed to do was travel to London with two complete strangers and contribute a bit of petrol money – sold! They had won the tickets in a MakeBelieve competition (a tanning company) and had a spare – don’t mind if I do!
