WISHLIST: Graduation

June 16, 2014

graduation

Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial Champagne – £40.99 | Ted Baker iPhone Sleeve – £20 (usually £29) | Olivia Burton Big Dial Lilac + Rose Gold Watch – £125 | Miss Selfridge Nude Paisley Gown – £150 | New Look Nude Courts – £19.99

As you may know, I manage to claw my way out of the stormy depths of undergraduateland recently, and will be graduating (escaping) university forever next month. However, before then I also have a Graduation Ball held at Blackpool Tower which, with the addition of the questionable line-up of Chase + Status (DJ set…), Miss Dynamite and someone I can’t even recall, is hopefully just going to be a very fancy piss-up. So this wishlist is going to be a lusty amalgamation of my Graduation Ball outfit wants and my graduation gift wants. I think the dress and the pink Moët are a definite though. Be mine.

Earn Money on Your Blog with LinkShare.

May 13, 2013

I’ve spotted this affiliate/advertising website around a few times and today, I decided to sign up and see if it was actually beneficial. The site allows you to earn money by placing ads for your favourite brands on your blog/website through an affiliate scheme. There are plenty of categories for companies all over the world, allowing you to cater your advertisements to the content you write about. I mean, nobody’s going to put a car dealer ad on a beauty site, right? Companies that I’ve applied to thus far include: Benefit UK, Miss Selfridge, Kurt Geiger – etc. All legitimate brands that I would be happy to advertise on my site.

At the moment, I’m still awaiting my applications to be accepted, but I’ll be posting about any progress I’ll hopefully make through the website. I’d definitely recommend signing up and I’d like to thank The Editeur (who I have also applied to) for bringing the site to my awareness! Click the ad to the right of my posts and sign up too!

An ELNfashion Update.

November 1, 2012

I notice that, again, I’ve been really quiet on the blogging front recently – primarily due to the fact that I’ve been catching up on the past couple of weeks at uni that I’ve missed. Apologies, apologies, I’m finally managing to get everything back in order so I’ll be back to posting regularly very soon. I’ve also had my iPhone stolen recently, if you were wondering why I’m barely ever on Twitter either, these days. Here are some posts that I’m looking to write hopefully before the end of the week:

  • Urban Outfitters Gets Uber Criticism – Bought way too many dodgy products from there recently.
  • Urban Outfitters Haul – Picking the decent stuff from the crap.
  • Saying Hello To My New Macbook Air – Apple or Windows? Windows 8 perks vs. Mac functionality.
  • Halloween Feature – Potentially not the most interesting post, as we didn’t even dress up – haha.
  • Planning for my work experience at ELLE in London in 11 days!
  • Topshop/Urban Outfitters/Miss Selfridge/New Look New In Feature.
  • Cambridge Satchel Bag Lovin’.
  • Alex Christopher Event Write-Up.
  • Brat & Suzie Review.

And I’m sure I’ll think of plenty more soon.

Passion For Fashion – Moneysupermarket.com Competition Entry Part 4.

September 24, 2012

Nearing the end of my entries now – isn’t half taking some time but it’s really fun anyway! The penultimate look that I’m creating is: First Date. Admittedly, it does seem a tad odd to me as it feels like yonks ago since my boyfriend and I had anything of a first date – aww. Anyway, this is what I’d wear if we were going for a meal or somewhere nice and I wanted to remind him of why he fancies the pants off me (hahaha):

Passion For Fashion – Moneysupermarket.com Competition Entry Part 2.

September 24, 2012

If you caught my first Moneysupermarket.com post earlier this week, you’ll know that I’ve entered an amazing competition that you can check out here. I’m still without a laptop (how on Earth did I manage to leave it in Leeds!?) so my posts are a little spaced out, given I’m having to use the university computers as and when I can. Anyway, here is my second look for the competition – Outdoor:

OOTD – Grungy Monday.

September 18, 2012

I bought my khaki camou jacket for Leeds/Green Man festival this year and I’ve barely worn it since – so today I thought I’d try and find something in my normal wardrobe that would actually suit it. So, I ended up in my boyfriend’s wardrobe and raided his Bob Dylan shirt – nice! Given my only reason to leave the house today is to come to the uni library to write some posts (here I am!), I went for casual and teamed the shirt with a plain bodycon skirt, brown folded knee high socks and black tights.

The Best in 2012 Festival Fashion.

July 31, 2012

For those of you who were lucky enough to attend Latitude Festival this year, your festival times may have been and gone – but for those of us looking into the future to the likes of Green Man, Leeds/Reading, End of the Road and Beautiful Days festivals, you need look no further for your festival wardrobe. Whilst festivals, if you’re of the female variety mainly, are often a ALT-off catwalk (props to those who carry off heels/wedges in mud), they also present us with a gargantuan challenge: how the hell do I fit all this shit in a rucksack and still have room for 300 face-wipes, 10 spare lipsticks and a portable loo? The trick to this is to think of your new best friends – layers.
