Urban Outfitters Sale Haul.

October 18, 2012

I’ve been on an absolute retail therapy spree recently, but at least I’ll be meh and dressed decently. Before this Urban Outfitters haul, there’s another one that I need to post about – where I took major advantage of their 20% off for students offer – which I do believe is still on! However, there is currently a pretty damn good mid-season sale on with many pieces up to 50% off. Here are my picks:

Sparkle & Fade Purple/Black Jumper – £25 was £40

Admittedly, I’m wouldn’t buy this jumper if I just saw this picture. However, it is much less boxy than it seems here and the colour is a lot darker and acid-y. The lining inside is absolutely lovely and soft, meaning it’s good for wearing alone with shorts/leggings – or it can be paired with a shirt underneath. I’d go with a lacy black number underneath, collar popping over the top – just the right mix of gothic preppy.

Sparkle & Fade Cut Shoulder Button Knit – £15 was £30.

Again, sheesh Urbies, I’m really not liking these pictures. I tried this on and it looked floaty yet offering a little edge from the cut out shoulders. Makes collar bones look lovely, but can make skinny ladies look very rakish so approach with caution – I like that barely there look though, myself. I’ll be wearing this with skinny dark blue jeans or a black tube skirt and Docs.

Square Face Roman Numeral Watch in Black – £12 was £24

Everyone needs a more professional looking watch. I had one trusty Swatch watch which has wiry leather strap strands that look a bit like computer wires – very cool, but clashes with practically everything. So, I saw this little beauty and had to snap it up. One thing I must say is it might look a little odd on people with dainty wrists – the end of the strap doubles over so it’s nearly at the clock face. Hmm.

Have you checked out the Urbies sale yet? If so, what did you pick up?
